Jeanne Owens

Author Bree Vanderland has kindly spotlighted me on her site 🙂

Author Bree Vanderland

Jeanne Owens is a Fantasy and YA author, though she has dabbled in other genres.  She has been writing since high school, but only started thinking about publishing in the last few years. She has one self-published book at the moment, the light fantasy novel Kismet and Tell. She has a collection of short stories that is a “prequel” to it that she is in the process of publishing. Along with that, she has a WIP fantasy novel she hopes to have done soon and has plans for some other books. She is also an animal lover, an avid reader, and a proud geek.

What Writers REALLY do at the Computer!

Ah, yes. That’d be me. (Though I don’t watch many Youtube videos, so replace it with some other social media, or Hulu and Crunchyroll).

one-love-blog-award-two1

Bee from Just Fooling Around With Bee did me the honor of nominating me for this award. Thank you very much! I really appreciate it 🙂

According to the rules, I have to list 7 interesting facts about myself, then nominate 15 other blogs. So, here goes!

Facts about me:

1.  I’m a bit on the short end at 5 ft. tall.

2. I’ve been writing since high school, but never thought about publishing until a creative writing class in college.

3. I enjoy video games, especially RPGs.

4. I enjoy watching shows about ghost hunting (I’ve never had an experience but am open-minded).

5. As a kid, I wanted to be a teacher, a veterinarian, an astronaut, and a librarian. Didn’t happen. But obviously I’ve loved animals and books all my life, and am still interested in astronomy 🙂

6. I enjoy playing with tarot cards, but haven’t used them lately.

7. I hate winter.
