“Preference?” he asked her as they browsed the movie listings.
“Pretty in Pink,” she replied.
“Pretty in Pink?” he said, surprised she’d like something like that.
“Perhaps,” she said. “Perhaps not.” They scrolled through the listing a little more, then she touched his hand at the same time he stopped scrolling.
“Pirates of the Carribean!” they said together, and they chuckled.
“Pizza?” he asked as he reached for his cell phone.
“Please,” she said, and he dialed and ordered, then they settled back on the couch to start the movie.
