In the still of the night, he deftly crept across the lawn to the window and stood as still as he could and listened quietly to the meeting going on in the room. According to his mission, it was supposed to be a short meeting, but after an hour he couldn’t believe it was still going, and he had to fight the urge to move to relieve his stiff leg muscles. When it finally broke up, he let out a small sigh of relief and crept back out into the night, albeit not quite as deftly as before.
