A Great Book Review For “The Little Italian Traveling Chair”

I was pleasantly surprised the other day. A children’s book I had contributed to a while back, The Little Italian Traveling Chair, received its first review. Not only was it a good review, it was 5 stars!

The review is by Pratibha Malav on Facebook, but I’m going to copy it here:

Book – The Little Italian Traveling Chair
Author – Jeanne Owens
Rating – ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️/5
“The Little Italian Traveling Chair” by Jeanne Owens is a delightful and heartwarming tale that will capture the imaginations of children and adults alike. Inspired by a special idea from the late Marilyn Weinmann, Owens weaves together magic, adventure, and the power of friendship in this enchanting story.
🪑
At its heart, the book follows the journey of a unique chair that possesses the remarkable ability to read a child’s mind and emotions. As it travels around the world, the chair becomes a companion to young adventurers hungry for new experiences and discoveries. From bustling cities to remote villages, each stop on the chair’s journey is filled with wonder and excitement, inviting readers to join in on the fun.
🪑
What sets “The Little Italian Traveling Chair” apart is its ability to spark curiosity and ignite the spirit of exploration in its readers. Through the chair’s eyes, children are transported to far-off lands and introduced to diverse cultures, fostering a sense of empathy and understanding. Owens’s storytelling is infused with warmth and charm, making it the perfect bedtime read or classroom favorite.
🪑
One of the book’s greatest strengths is its universal appeal. While it is suggested for children ages 7 and up, readers of all ages will find something to love in this magical tale. Whether you’re a young adventurer dreaming of distant shores or an adult longing to recapture the wonder of childhood, “The Little Italian Traveling Chair” offers a timeless journey that will stay with you long after the final page is turned.
🪑
Overall, “The Little Italian Traveling Chair” is a delightful and uplifting read that celebrates the joy of discovery and the magic of imagination. Jeanne Owens has crafted a truly special story that will inspire generations to come.

Isn’t that a great review? I had a lot of fun writing for the book and I’m so appreciative of her for taking the time to review it. If you would like to check out the book for yourself, it’s available in paperback on Amazon.
