Silence – Tuesday Use It In A Sentence #tuesdayuseitinasentence

As her new puppy played happily in the next room, she worked at the computer. Eventually, she realized she didn’t hear the puppy the anymore, and she got up to check on him, hoping he’d just worn himself out and not gotten into trouble. As she walked to the room, she remembered a funny meme she’d seen that said something like “Silence is golden, unless you have a puppy. Then silence is suspicious. Very, very suspicious,” and she found herself agreeing with it. She peeked into the room and sighed with relief at the sight of the puppy napping beside its stuffed toy.
