The Moon- Stream of Consciousness Saturday #SoCS

The path you walk

May seem confusing,

Full of insecurities

And uncertainties.

You may feel

Lost on your journey,

As if wandering

In the dark of night,

Not sure of where

You should be going.

But worry not,

For the Moon will

Light your path,

Providing the clarity

And understanding

Your intuition needs

To guide your way

Through the darkness.

Use its gentle light

To walk your path,

And take your steps

Bravely towards

Your hopes and dreams.

Sunrise – Just Jot It January #JusJoJan

Sometimes when I’m on my way to work in the morning, I’m lucky enough to see a pretty sunrise and get a photo. I got this one a couple of days ago when I got to the parking lot where I work.

Indie Pride Day 2016 #IndiePrideDay #IndieBooksBeSeen

Today is Indie Pride Day, a day for indie authors to share their pride – and their works – and to support each other. As an indie author myself, I thought I’d share a photo of me with my first book, the fun Fantasy novel Kismet And Tell.

Kismet and Tell and it’s “prequel” short story collection, Chronicles of Riss, are both available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and other fine online book retailers.

This and that

I’m still learning my way around WordPress. I found how to adjust the background color 🙂 I also decided to change the header photo. So right now, my header photo is my two fur-babies: Shadow, my black kitty, and Cinnamon, my miniature poodle who just crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few months ago. I may decide to change the photo again at some point.

It also strikes me that I mentioned I’m an author, but have neglected to mention that I have a book out. It’s called Kismet and Tell. It’s a fun, light-hearted fantasy/YA novel that follows the adventures of a young mercenary sorceress as she learns she’s part of a prophecy about saving the world from an evil god. It’s available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
