Quiet – Tuesday Use It In A Sentence #tuesdayuseitinasentence

The night was still and quiet, but her mind wasn’t. The clacking of the keys on the keyboard sounded loud in the quiet room as she sat at the computer and typed furiously, trying to get the multitude of ideas that danced in her head out so she could at last go to bed.

This day-late post is part of the Tuesday Use It In A Sentence prompt, “quiet”:

  1. The life of a writer 😉. At all times, all hours. Thanks for taking part despite the lateness and summer hiatus.

  2. I can so relate to your “use it in a sentence” post! That is me most nights.

Last night I harbored all my granddaughters (3) so their parents could have a proper date night, after several batches of sticky waffles for dinner, a long ritual soak in the tub, and the “happily ever after” stories were read, I laid my weary head on the pillow and blessed the quiet!

    Cheers, C
