What I want
I have found
Has slowly changed
As I have grown.
What I wanted
When I was little
Was simple enough.
Things like toys
And candy
And other things
That could be bought
From the store.
But now I’m older
And my want list
More often than not
Contains things
That can’t be bought.
Good health
Security
Love
Peace of mind
Happiness.
These sorts of things
Are what we all
should really want
From life.
