Dreading another family Christmas full of bickering and terrible gifts, Michael slowly stepped up to his grandmother’s door. The smell of baking cookies wafted through the cracks and evoked fond memories of having fun as a child helping his grandmother bake Christmas cookies. His dread quickly forgotten, he hurried through the door with a smile on his face and ran into the kitchen to help her bake.
