Happy 20th Anniversary, Harry Potter

It’s hard to believe that 20 years ago today, J. K. Rowling first introduced us to the young boy wizard, Harry Potter, with the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (or Philosopher’s Stone). Thus began the worldwide Harry Potter craze as both children and adults fell in love with Harry Potter and his friends and their fight against He Who Must Not Be Named. I’m happy to include myself among them.

Happy 20th anniversary, J.K. Rowling and Harry Potter!

  1. Great, brief post!
I still can’t believe that it’s already been 20 years since J.K. Rowling introduced us to Harry and the magical world of Hogwarts. Whenever I’m in a bit of a reading slump I always find myself opening to a chapter of The Order of the Phoenix (my personal favorite) and am automatically transported out of my slump and carried to my middle school memories when I would rush home just to lose myself in Rowling’s universe.

I’m sorry it is over. I wish there were more.

    • It is hard to believe it’s been 20 years. I wish there was more, too. Of course, we have the Fantastic Beasts movie(s), and the Cursed Child play, but thought they’re great, they’re just not the same.

  4. Love Harry Potter? How many of these points do you identify with? Please check this out:
