Lydia had made plans to go out with her friends, but after finding out that her beloved senior cat, Lula, had terminal cancer, she decided to eschew the plans and throw a final, fun birthday party for her cat instead. Lydia’s friends, who were the type to not take “no” for an answer but who were also completely understanding and supportive, decided to join her.
