Kneeling on the floor, Jenny rolled her eyes and sighed, then moved the cat off the wrapping paper so she could tackle wrapping the tackle box her father had kept asking for for Christmas even though he hadn’t gone fishing in a long time.

  1. It’s comforting to hear about someone else who wants something for a hobby he hasn’t picked up in a while. I do the same knowing I will probably never get around to using the desired object but comforted in the knowledge that if I do then whatever I need is to hand.

Sadly I go beyond the father’s wish list for a mere tackle box, oh dear me yes, we moved in the summer and I have a large building sitting in the garden which is going to be my studio/workshop when it is finished, though I don’t suppose I’ll paint again and of course I am a terrible woodworker/craftsman, frankly most of the motorised tools employed in workshops scare me, but happily I will have them if I need they tee hee.

Jeanne I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and an Amazing New Year thanks for providing such a nice blog I look forward to opening my mail box because of it.

    Purrs,

    • Thank you 🙂 I am a little the same way, too. I like to make jewelry, but don’t get a chance to work with it much right now, but I still buy beads and finding and stuff when I find it at a good sale 😀 And I look forward to your blogs as well. Wishing you a very happy Christmas and New Year.

  2. A lovely contribution and yes I do empathize. I haven’t picked up my saxophone in a few years but I’d love to get some sheet music and stuff in case I do.
Have a wonderful Christmas Jeanne and a very Happy New Year though I trust I’ll be able to wish it next week 😉

    • Thank you. I liked to dabble in making jewelry but haven’t had a lot of time lately to work on it, but still buy beads and stuff for it once in a while, if I see something pretty or find a good sale 🙂 Wishing you a happy Christmas and New Year 😀
