I love these! I think I could use a Writer’s Block one or one for getting my writer’s sh*t together sometime.
During a long and drawn out procrastination session I created some of my own writer greeting cards. If I don’t meet my writing goals this week at least I can say – “but I designed some greeting cards!”
There are some key moments in a writer’s career that I think deserve a greeting card.
I have also tried to capture the feelings and emotions that are associated with these special times.
- When you finish writing your book.
I don’t know about anyone else but when I finished my draft a few weeks ago I felt like the woman on my greeting card.
Writing 70k words should be celebrated even though you feel like a shadow of your former self and the sight of your draft makes you want to cry uncontrollably.
Maybe inside the card the message might read ‘Now you can start editing!’
- Thanking a writer friend
